Role :

At Sun Life you will be responsible in executing strategic vision for enterprise data platform and will be a core member of the data platform squad. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that enables business-critical use cases and empower teams across the organization

Key Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in data‑driven technologies delivering end‑to‑end data initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, Starburst Trino, PostgreSQL, SQL Server (SSMS)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache NiFi
• Proven ability to design and build Data pipelines, Data lakes, and Data warehouses
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, EKS, RDS).
• Strong Git, CI/CD, and code review practices.
• Functional knowledge of the asset management domain (positions, transactions, pricing, valuation, accounting).
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and outcome‑driven decision‑making skills.
