The Opportunity

This is a role based in Bogotá, Colombia. We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity Tools team. This role is critical to supporting the cybersecurity operations team including incident response, attack surface management, and red teaming by ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cybersecurity toolsets. You will also contribute to the development of custom solutions where commercial tools fall short, with a strong focus on Python-based automation and integration.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and maintain Python and Cortex XSOAR based automation scripts and microservices to support security operations.

  • Integrate commercial and open-source cybersecurity tools into enterprise environments.

  • Collaborate with incident response, red team, and attack surface management teams to understand tooling needs and deliver solutions.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of cybersecurity tools.

  • Ensure secure coding practices and contribute to threat modeling and secure architecture reviews.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response support as needed.

  • Provide secondary/backup support for Enterprise Cybersecurity Toolset.

Required Qualifications

  • Education
    Associates Degree

  • Experience / Background
    Minimum 4 years

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and application development.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Solid understanding of Linux and Microsoft systems and networking fundamentals.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and experience working with security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners).

  • Familiarity with security automation frameworks (e.g., SOAR platforms).

  • Experience with log aggregation and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk, Prometheus).
