A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant – Family Medicine to join its primary and integrated healthcare team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified Family Medicine physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across different stages of life while working within a well-established government healthcare environment.

We are particularly interested in candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients across different age groups.
• Conduct consultations, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in a primary care setting.
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
• Provide health screening, risk assessment, and disease prevention services.
• Manage patients with multiple and complex medical conditions.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with relevant specialists when required.
• Provide appropriate health education and lifestyle counseling to patients and families.
• Monitor chronic disease management and support long-term patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and mentoring of junior medical staff.
• Promote patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based medical practice.
• Stay updated with current developments, guidelines, and best practices in Family Medicine.

Requirements

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine / General Practice or a relevant specialty.
• Significant post-specialty clinical experience in Family Medicine.
• Strong experience in managing patients across different age groups and a broad range of medical conditions.
• Experience in chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and primary healthcare.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
