As the Senior Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, performing advanced surgical procedures, and playing a leading role in shaping patient care protocols. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exemplary patient outcomes and promote continuous improvement in surgical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead surgical management and clinical decision-making for complex colon and rectal cases.
• Perform advanced colorectal surgeries, including minimally invasive and open procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior surgeons and clinical staff to foster professional development.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Develop and implement best practices and clinical guidelines for colon and rectal surgical care.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to academic publications to advance colorectal surgery knowledge.
• Ensure thorough pre-operative and post-operative care with attention to patient education and recovery.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and uphold medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous professional development and remain current with emerging surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid medical license.
• Extensive experience as a colon and rectal surgeon, including senior-level roles.
• Completion of residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing clinical teams.
• Proven expertise in advanced colorectal surgical techniques and patient management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interact with patients effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to research, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional growth.
