The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist, Base Metals Markets to join our Commercial team in Toronto.
This is a permanent Hybrid position.
As a Senior Specialist, Base Metals Markets, you will conduct macro‑economic and pricing analysis across Vale Base Metals’ portfolio, developing industry supply and demand analysis, price forecasts, and competitive intelligence. You will maintain pricing models and analyze global market drivers including economic indicators, commodity prices, premiums, derivatives, and policy impacts. You will support the organization’s strategic planning and participate in discussions on market opportunities and risks. You will also collaborate closely with commercial sales and technical marketing, providing insights into our products.
