We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our VIP Lounges at T4 of Madrid-Barajas Airport. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong autonomy and leadership skills who is ready to take responsibility for the operation.

Job Description

YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Sous Chef in our VIP Lounges, you will play a key role in the operation: you will coordinate the team, organize the workflow and ensure everything is prepared to deliver a service that meets DO & CO standards.

A role where leadership, autonomy, organization and the ability to react quickly will be essential.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the team, organizing tasks, priorities and workflow during service.
• Plan and supervise food preparation, ensuring DO&CO standards of quality, presentation and service are consistently met.
• Manage product requirements, optimizing the use of raw materials and minimizing waste.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP standards, hygiene, food safety, order and cleanliness requirements.
• Anticipate operational needs and resolve issues, making autonomous decisions to ensure service continuity and quality.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef with solid experience and the ability to take responsibility for an operation, who enjoys leading teams and working autonomously.

• More than 5 years of experience in premium hospitality or premium food service.
• C1 level of English.
• Experience coordinating and training teams.
• Strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Strong focus on quality, attention to detail and service.
