Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in coordinating category projects among various business stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and information flow. Support for categories Created Diamonds and CAPEX projects.
  • Evaluate supplier offerings and propose cost-saving initiatives aimed at reducing costs.
  • Conduct cost negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, implement pricing strategies, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Responsibility in strategic sourcing events such as RFQ/RFP/RFI to optimize costs and quality.
  • Monitor supplier performance KPIs, SLAs, risks, and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Support contract negotiations, ensuring accurate execution and maintenance.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with Social and Sustainable Procurement objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging technology and trends to support innovation projects and market updates.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a relevant field (Engineering, Economics, or both).
  • Professional experience in the area of Procurement within an international setting.
  • Strong analytical skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and ability to use other IT software relevant to procurement and sourcing activities such as ARIBA, SAP etc.
  • Experience with the source-to-pay process, policies, category strategy, supplier management, risk management.
  • Familiarity with gems and created stones, lab grown diamond growing technologies, and cutting and polishing processes is a significant advantage. Experience in CAPEX projects would be beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
  • The ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders is key.
