REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sourcing Manager – Indirect Procurement - Marketing in Winston-Salem, NC, USA

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for Marketing-related indirect materials and services across all RAI operating companies, overseeing approximately $90M in annual expenditure The position focuses on developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost savings and efficiency, supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives, and ensuring alignment with both RAI and Global Procurement objectives. The role partners closely with Marketing stakeholders to understand business needs, influence demand planning, conduct spend analysis, support budgeting activities, lead sourcing initiatives, contribute to supplier performance management, and participate in supplier negotiations to maximize value and business outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management Builds trusted relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, understands business needs, and aligns procurement priorities accordingly.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making Uses data, market insights, and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Technology & Continuous Improvement Embraces procurement systems, tools, and digital solutions while actively supporting transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Communication & Accountability Communicates clearly and concisely, provides constructive feedback, promotes collaboration, and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Financial & Problem-Solving Skills Applies financial acumen and root-cause analysis to make sound decisions, solve complex issues, and support business performance.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and RFx processes, including requirement gathering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contract execution, and implementation.
  • Strong background in supplier relationship management, performance tracking, and supplier development.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and risk assessments to identify supply risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.
  • Demonstrated procurement experience with responsibility for supplier relationships, category management, negotiations, vendor performance, risk mitigation, and value creation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of procurement compliance, governance, and policy adherence.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience driving change management initiatives and ensuring successful execution of procurement strategies.
  • Experience with procurement, sourcing, ERP, contract management, and analytics platforms (such as SAP, Coupa, iCertis, Power BI, or equivalent systems).
  • Experience supporting Marketing Procurement categories is preferred; however, candidates with strong procurement experience across other indirect categories will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 4+ years of relevant procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier management experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
