Purpose of the position.
- This position is responsible for designs, analyzes, and optimizes operational processes to improve performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Leading the business requirement workshop with customers to capture customer’s requirements and translate into function specifications.
- Oversee end-to-end solution design, including equipment, automation, and utility requirements including performance benchmarking.
- Conduct engineering and analytical support.
- Manage, assist and validate during testing phase.
Key Tasks
- Capture and translate business and customer requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Develop detailed process flows, product movement diagrams, and layout designs tailored to project.
- Validate assumptions and benefits upon execution, re-aligning with stakeholders as necessary.
- Drive CL project approach (Project Management methodology), DSV Quality Planning methodology, and enterprise baseline.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across functions such as operations, commercial, and IT to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Oversee end-to-end solution design, including equipment, automation, and utility requirements together with facility team.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define and validate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with implementation support for operational teams.
- Ensure operational performance improvement and provide crisis management support.
- Conduct engineering studies and capacity calculations to validate solution feasibility.
- Evaluate and implement automation technologies such as AGV, robotic systems and automated material handling equipment
- Support automation and digital transformation initiative to improve throughput and reduce manual errors
- Manage and assist to develop (where necessary) full end to end testing frameworks including FAT, end to end production trial runs (DILO/Stress testing), etc. in collaboration with internal team and vendors etc.
- Validate that IT solution aligns with designed processes and operations goals
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working
- Comprehensive understanding in terms of information flow, transportation, warehousing and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of warehouse solution design; able to develop operationally feasible solution(s) to meet customer requirements.
- Experience in process or logistics engineering, preferrably within Contract Logistics or Supply Chain environments.
- Experience in modern warehouse and distribution, supply chain design (automation and other modern warehousing innovation (robotics, digitalisation) is preferred.

Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
- Experience in process or logistics engineering, preferrably within Contract Logistics or Supply Chain environments.
- Experience with automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Good understanding in warehouse and transport operations.
- Good understanding in WMS/ERP is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in Process or logistics engineering.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
Language skills
- Proficient in English both written and spoken
Computer literacy
- PC literate and application of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding in Warehouse Management Systems and ERP is a plus.
- Practical working experience with AutoCAD. Experience in CLASS, Sketchup and/or other supply chain design software/tools is a plus
