The Senior Technical Specialist – Programming & Commissioning is responsible for leading controller software development, functional testing, system integration, remote commissioning, and technical support activities for global data center Building Automation projects. The role serves as the technical expert for complex HVAC control sequences, commissioning strategies, and software standardization while ensuring reliable operation of mission-critical infrastructure.

  • Lead controller programming, software development, and commissioning activities for Building Automation Systems supporting hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and mission-critical data centers.
  • Develop, review, and validate control logic for chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, Cooling Distribution Units (CDU), cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, AHUs, ventilation systems, and precision cooling applications.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integrated system testing, point-to-point verification, alarm validation, trend verification, and Sequence of Operation testing.
  • Integrate BAS with UPS, generators, ATS, STS, power monitoring systems, EPMS, DCIM, fire alarm systems, access control, leak detection, and third-party equipment using BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA, and other industry-standard communication protocols.
  • Provide remote commissioning support, troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis, optimize control strategies, and resolve customer technical escalations.
  • Develop reusable software libraries, programming standards, commissioning procedures, and technical documentation to improve engineering consistency and delivery efficiency.
  • Mentor programmers and commissioning engineers while supporting technical reviews, customer meetings, and global engineering initiatives.

Your success is grounded in:

  • 6–10 Years of relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.

Preferred

    • Experience in hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities.
    • Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) with Knowledge of AI-ready cooling systems, liquid cooling, Digital Twin, BIM, and EPMS/DCIM integration.
