About the Role
As a Senior Solution Consultant specialising in Workforce Management and Payroll, you are essential to the sales cycle and play an important role on the Sales team. You will use your subject matter expertise in the domain to provide support to the Sales team and help drive the sale by providing influence and credibility to C-level executives.
If you are a proven presales Workforce Management and Payroll consultant and have strong functional knowledge and experience gained through roles such as payroll practitioner, HCM enterprise solution Pre-Sales / Sales Payroll Consultant, and/or have a background in payroll application implementation, we’d love to speak to you.
Responsibilities include:
The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
Crafts detailed design and implementation specifications for sophisticated products/applications/solutions
To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
To support the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
To assist sales in the response to RFxs
Participate in discovery sessions alongside sales to ask qualifying questions and understand struggles, current business processes, and ideal future state
Uses in-depth ERP-product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
Ability to travel 50+% of the time
About You
You are an exceptional, dynamic presenter with excellent communication and influencing skills, specifically to a C-level Human Resources leadership audience
You possess credibility and passion for presentations and product demonstrations around HCM technology solutions:
You’re a subject matter expert when it comes to payroll and workforce management
As a plus, you’re also knowledgeable about HCM enterprise solutions and HCM
You’re passionate about Workday and believe that businesses and organisations can advance and grow by adopting Workday solutions
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years in Presales and/or Services Consulting or other technical roles.
· 3+ years’ experience in HCM systems and/or processes
· Strong understanding of the HR Management functional areas such as Core HCM, Time & Attendance, Rostering, Compensation, Payroll, Employee Engagement
Other Qualifications:
· Exposure to SaaS HR solutions from Workday, Oracle and SAP would be an advantage
· Knowledge of Generative and Agentic AI as applied to the HR domain and experience in positioning embedded or built-on-AI solutions to business and technology stakeholders
· Strong orientation towards articulating the value of AI-driven solutions
· Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects individually as well as working cross-functionally
· Outstanding professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing skills to C-Level and senior administrators.
5+ years in a Solution Consulting, sales consulting AND/OR implementation role.
