We are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to join our Professional Services team and help leading organizations transform the way they manage invoice lifecycles in an increasingly complex, AI-driven, and regulated world. As a senior member of our global implementation team, you will guide customers in adopting Basware's Invoice Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions, delivering greater control, compliance, financial integrity, and automation across their finance operations. You will bring deep solution expertise, strong consulting skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while partnering closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Product Management, R&D, Production, and Support. In addition, you will mentor and develop other consultants, helping shape the future of professional services at Basware

Responsibilities:

• Lead engagements with customers to understand their business needs and environment, working closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects and other Solution Consultants
• Design, configure (through various applications & by use of proprietary programming language), and test Basware's AP and e-invoicing solutions to meet customers requirements
• Design, configure, and implement integrations between Basware and customers ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), procurement solutions, document management systems, and financial archives
• Implement, test and deploy document exchange flows using custom and standardized mappings for widely used file formats/standards (EDI, XML, UBL, IDOC)
• Supporting the solution design, effort estimation and project planning
• Act as an advisor to customers, helping them design, optimize, and transform their AP processes to improve efficiency & compliance
• Use AI-assisted tools (e.g. GenAI assistants, automated testing and documentation tools) to accelerate solution design, configuration and testing
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Provide technical support to customers during implementation and post-implementation, including troubleshooting of AI-driven exceptions

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant or in a similar solution/technical consulting role, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder software implementations
• Proven experience delivering enterprise software implementations across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Experience using GenAI assistants or low-code/AI-powered tools to speed up configuration, testing or documentation is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Practical experience writing SQL and working with relational databases for reporting, troubleshooting, data analysis & integration validations
• Advanced English skills (written and spoken) is mandatory; French and/or German language skills are a plus
• Experience with procurement, finance, e-invoicing protocols (EDI, XML, APIs), ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle), and e-procurement platforms is a plus
