ITDM Group is currently seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect who will work on digital transformation projects across both on-premise and public cloud environments. You will design and guide implementations of cloud-native applications, infrastructure automation, and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platforms and multi-cloud architectures, leveraging technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, Kubernetes, and leading public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
As a Senior Solution Architect you:
Will be responsible for all aspects of the solution lifecycle: estimation, design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support for our clients.
Will help drive the technical direction of projects in collaboration with project leadership and client stakeholders.
Will actively support presales activities including discovery, solution design, and technical proposal development.
Learn and adopt new technologies quickly, covering container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native architectures, and hybrid cloud integration patterns.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lead solution architecture initiatives across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements, interacting with cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release solutions.
Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate architectures and accelerate client decisions.
Mentor and provide architectural guidance to internal teams building innovative applications on container platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Drive shared vision, best practices and engineering capabilities across delivery teams.
Act as trusted technical advisor toward senior IT and business executives at client organizations.
Required qualifications:
4+ years of solution architecture experience; at least 2 of those years focused on cloud-ready application design and infrastructure deployment.
Solid hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or derivatives.
Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
Strong creative problem-solving skills and ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in Italian and English.
Ability to design multi-product cloud solutions and demonstrate technical leadership on container platforms.
Experience leading complex containerization, microservices development, and "monolithic to microservices" migration projects.
Attitude toward knowledge transfer: helping and mentoring colleagues on DevOps, cloud, and container technologies.
Preferred experiences:
Private and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure design from the ground up (SDDC, Nutanix, VMware, OpenStack).
Multi-cloud architectures integrating on-premise OpenShift with AWS / Azure services.
DevOps toolchain setup: CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins.
Network and security policy design (Zero Trust, mTLS, NSX, OVN-Kubernetes).
