Senior Solution Architect – Global Risk & Audit Portfolio

What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $70-75 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $80-85 per hour.
• 5-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Day schedule, 37.50 hours per week.
• Hybrid: 3 days/week in Toronto office.
Responsibilities:
• Support solution architecture initiatives across enterprise risk, financial risk, and audit transformation programs.
• Contribute to scalable, regulator-ready technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in the design of data-centric architectures, enterprise integrations, and analytics platforms.
• Support architecture activities related to GRC, risk management, and audit platforms.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, and portfolio technology teams to support enterprise initiatives.
• Translate business requirements from risk and audit stakeholders into structured analytics and reporting solutions.
• Support the development of dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio-level insights.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards related to security, privacy, resiliency, and governance.
• Contribute to data consistency, governance, and reporting reliability initiatives across portfolios.
• Participate in architecture governance activities, solution reviews, and roadmap discussions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, risk, audit, compliance, legal risk, and human resources functions.
• Communicate technical and architectural concepts clearly to business and technology stakeholders.
What you will need to succeed:
• Degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Azure Certification is considered an asset.
• 5-7 years of experience in solution architecture within regulated industries such as financial services or insurance.
• Proven experience working with large-scale enterprise platforms and complex portfolios.
• Knowledge of data architecture.
• Knowledge of DataBricks.
• Knowledge of integration architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft Stack technologies.
• Knowledge of Archer GRC.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, event-driven integrations, and data pipelines.
• Understanding of risk management, audit, compliance, or privacy environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML architecture, automation, and analytics solutions in regulated environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively within complex enterprise transformation programs.
