Senior Solution Architect

We are now looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia.

Main task of the role:

  • Solution Architect helps build and maintains a robust, scalable and strong technical foundation for the Data & Network Tower division (Data, Hosting, Integrations & Networking)

  • Drives technical implementation of IT Projects and be technical POC

  • Helps with service/vendor management

  • Contribute to Tower Strategy

  • Support programs, projects and bigger development initiatives during the development process

Key competencies:

  • Ability to lead projects technically (Migrations & Transitions)

  • Design/oversee of tower architecture and support our operational model

  • Excellent knowledge of cloud and on-premises hosting-related platforms (vmWare, Azure)

  • Good knowledge of networking (Firewalls, SD-WAN, CCNA, etc.)

  • Experience with monitoring implementation (Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Prometheus and similar)

  • Good inside into data and basic architecture design, Database management, processes and data integration (Snowflake, Webmethods, API Management)

  • Experience with IT governance, quality and security standards

  • Operational and strategic experience with ITIL (ServiceNow, CMDB, Change Management)

Required skills:

  • Business driven mindset

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong stakeholder relationship management, analysis and interaction abilities

  • Analytical skills to review and compare solution options on long-term perspective, explain and advocate chosen solutions.

  • Scripting knowledge is + (Powershell, Python)

  • English (B2 or higher)

You will report tothe Head of Data & Network Services.
