In Bratislava within the Telecommunication industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect responsible for designing complex IT solutions within large transformation projects. The candidate will define architectural principles, ensure consistency of solutions across systems, and closely collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects.

This is you

• 5+ years of IT experience, with a demonstrable background in a Solution Architect role

• Proficient in SQL, React, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP, OpenAPI, MQ, and middleware, with a hands-on approach to technical problem-solving

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, integration architectures, and API/event-driven design; solid command of JSON and XML

• Working knowledge of architectural frameworks and standards; ability to read and interpret Java code

• Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale, complex enterprise projects

• Structured, analytical thinker with a strong end-to-end perspective and the ability to connect technical decisions to broader business outcomes

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business audiences; fluent in Czech or Slovak and English, both spoken and written

Nice-to-have skills:

• Background in telco (OSS/BSS, billing, provisioning)

• Experience with modeling languages: ArchiMate, BPMN, UML

• Knowledge of network topology, protocols, and network security

• Orientation in cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Tools: Archi, Enterprise Architect, Jira, Confluence

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of security standards and best practices (e.g., IAM, OAuth2)

This is your role

• Design end-to-end solutions in line with architectural principles and company strategy

• Design and deliver E2E solutions for customer migrations, including target architecture design, migration strategy (waves, cutover, fallback scenarios) and impact assessment on key IT systems and business processes

• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solutions

• Create and maintain architectural documentation (HLD, LLD)

• Define integration scenarios and data flows between systems

• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align solutions with the target architecture

• Evaluate technology options and select appropriate solutions

• Manage architectural decisions and governance throughout the project lifecycle

• Support development teams during implementation of architectural designs

• Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies

• Participate in architectural reviews and approval processes
