Designs software development using object-oriented programming languages (Java). Builds REST based micro services using Java and Spring Boot. Works with unit and integration test automation, using Junit and Mockito. Develops Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other Cloud platforms, and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes). Develops resilient messaging services (Kafka, AWS Simple Notification Service (SNS), and AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS)). Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and implementing REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), using Spring Boot and .NETCORE.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and implementing REST Application Programming Interfaces APIs, using Spring Boot and .NETCORE.
