
Develops software using object orientated design (OOD) and high-performance REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Java and DropWizard (including consuming and designing both REST and SOAP based APIs). Deploys and runs APIs in the Cloud through automation with integrated security and testing. Runs applications and code in the Cloud while collecting and monitoring operational data, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services -- Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and helm charts. Develops custom data pipelines to extract, map, transform, and load data in various data stores including RDBMS, Oracle, S3, and shared drives. Delivers IT solutions using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and related technologies -- Azure DevOps, TFS Pipelines, Jenkins, and uDeploy. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing scalable Web and API-based applications in a financial services environment, using .NET Core, SQL Server, and Angular.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing scalable Web and API-based applications in a financial services environment, using .NET Core, SQL Server, and Angular.
