The role is based atDroneShield’scentral Sydney headquarters. Overseas on-the-ground presence includes Virginia (USA), Netherlands, Denmark,Mexicoand Dubai, as well as distributors in over 70 countries worldwide.
About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer at DroneShield, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our RFAI Detection Capability, core technology that powers our world-leading anti-drone solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional experts in ML/AI, Data Science, RF, and Infrastructure to innovate, integrate cutting-edge algorithmic models, and deliver meaningful commercial value.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building software that solves real-world problems and is eager to keep up with evolving best practices. You should be equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively, capable of mentoring other engineers, and experienced with modern software infrastructure and tools. This role is ideal for someone with the ambition and drive to help grow the company and compete with major players in the industry.
