The Reporting team at Omnisend empowers merchants with clear, actionable insights into their marketing performance. We build the analytics and reporting capabilities that help merchants understand how their campaigns, automations, and channels drive engagement and revenue. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development, but who is also comfortable working across the full stack. Proactive, product-minded individuals who enjoy owning features end-to-end and are enthusiastic about building data-driven products will thrive at Omnisend. If you’re passionate about designing scalable backend systems, working with complex data, and occasionally contributing to intuitive front-end experiences that deliver actionable insights to merchants, we’d love to have you on our team!
Contribute significantly to product development decisions
Design, develop, and test features
Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
Share best practices with team members
Hands-on experience (5+ years)
Customer centricity
Ownership mindset — you take responsibility, show initiative, and move things forward without waiting to be told
Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang
Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
Proficiency in any database
Experience with real time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services)
