Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (React/Python)

We at Coforge are hiring Senior Software Engineer (React/Python) (#19946) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and relational database technologies.
  • Build and optimize backend services, data flows, and application performance using MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and Sidekiq.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Contribute to modern development practices and continuously improve engineering efficiency and system scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or full stack development roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and MySQL.
  • Experience developing frontend applications using React.
  • Familiarity with Python and willingness to work with or expand expertise in Python-based solutions.
  • Experience with Redis, ElasticSearch, and Sidekiq for scalable backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, query optimization, and system performance.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and modern web application architecture.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Exposure to scalable distributed systems and performance optimization practices.
  • Interest in expanding expertise in Python-based development workflows.
