Your future contribution

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer in Vilnius or Kaunas, where you'll play a vital role in the success of HomeToGo. We're looking for an experienced software engineer to be a part of one of our Consumer Product teams. Our diverse and modern tech stack includes Symfony, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, Redis, Aerospike, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. What you'll tackle first

How you’ll add value

• Drive the implementation of technical initiatives to improve the quality of our product
• Partner with Product to impact the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team as well as other engineering teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of features
• Work closely with architects to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and usability of our Marketplace products
• Take ownership of engineering decisions for larger topics and features
• Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Have 5+ years of professional experience in backend development (ideally with PHP/Symfony)
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Are familiar with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Are fluent in English
