Job Description

Passionate about streamlining processes, automating tasks, and empowering others through self-service solutions? Eager to eliminate bottlenecks and reinvent workflows for quick, effective outcomes? If putting users at the center of every solution is exciting, then come support our transformation into a software defined network as we continue to expand and digitally transform our production capacity and capabilities.

Join a space where innovation crafts the digital backbone of the LEGO Group and helps build something outstanding — one brilliant idea at a time!

Core Responsibilities

The daily work for this position is teamwork across software development and network engineering based on agile principles and latest network technologies to automate the deployment and testing of our network infrastructure.

Sharing insights and driving improvements is a core part of the role, ensuring we consistently deliver the best possible quality in our products. With the increase in digitalization, the Network Engineering Platform team delivers life-cycle management and self-service systems that make the network work.

  • Come up with and build the most sophisticated user experiences for our users.
  • Write code and automated tests to speed up otherwise manual processes.
  • Develop software systems for zero-touch provisioning of network devices.
  • Shorten feedback loops into our daily work to deploy better solutions faster.

Play your part in our team succeeding.

Working in LEGO® Digital Platforms & Infrastructure domain is a hugely exciting experience and a superb opportunity to work with groundbreaking front-end technology in a diverse and upbeat engineering team.

The internal network of the LEGO Group is expected to grow 25% by the end of 2026 without growing the engineering teams while maintaining an average change time of less than 1 hour for user generated changes.

The Network & Connectivity sub-domain stewards the whole network. Our team is a daring team with a mix of youthful energy and hard-earned experience focusing on the software side of network development, implementation, and management. We have a tight and comprehensive roadmap in front of us. The work we do is critical and a foundational layer for the rest of the organization – while supporting compliance, audit ability, and consistent policy enforcement.

We are a likeable team based at the new LEGO Campus in Billund. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, and flexible – “and we like to have fun along the way!”

Do you have what it takes?

A strong collaborator who improves the standard for the whole team and iterates pragmatically from minimum viable products toward innovative solutions. Also, have a sharp eye for the right processes and the rigor to see them through. – Oh, and did we mention the great candidate love getting better at solving software problems?

To thrive in this role, you bring:

  • Proficiency in our tech stack — React.JS, Python, Docker, Kubernetes/Helm & AWS
  • A professional degree in engineering or similar, or equivalent experience
