Senior Software Engineer – .NET (7+ years)

What you will do:

Workplace Options (WPO) are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience in .NET to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will lead technical design, mentor developers, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into robust .NET solutions.
  • Design and implement backend services using C#, .NET Core/Framework (6/7/8), Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, applying SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • Write clean, tested code; conduct reviews and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Frontend) to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Integrate with databases and external APIs.
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, cloud deployment (Azure), and microservices.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of .NET development experience.
  • Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/6/7/8, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and multi-tier design.
  • Familiarity with modern frontends (Angular, React, Blazor).
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.


Preferred Additional Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, message brokers, or event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to DDD, CQRS, or domain-driven microservices.
  • Experience mentoring or leading small teams.
