Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer - .NET is responsible for the overall performance of the product by applying software engineering principles to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software. This role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines, while providing technical leadership through code quality, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do

  • Develop complex code based on functional specifications, completing logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards and engineering best practices.
  • Translate and analyze software requirements into design specifications, ensuring adherence to requirements and incorporating business value into technical decisions.
  • Perform complex peer code reviews and analysis, providing insight on the broader impact of software changes and delivering meaningful technical guidance to team members.
  • Create and apply automated tests and test principles — including unit tests — and contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline encompassing test automation, security, and performance.
  • Influence and lead team standards and processes, including planning, work estimation, solution demos, reviews, and implementation design discussions.
  • Research complex escalations for production issues, mentor and coach team members, and implement development standards to ensure compliance with product and industry practices.

Role Essentials — What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with significant hands-on expertise in NET and C# development, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Proven experience translating software requirements into well-structured design specifications, grounded in strong object-oriented design and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with continuous software delivery, build environments, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation and continuous integration tools.
  • Experience working in Windows/Linux development environments using open-source tools and platforms, with solid familiarity with software application testing methodologies and process frameworks.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to mentor team members, influence technical decisions, and deliver results independently with minimal oversight.

What We'd Like to See — Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, enabling full-stack contribution across the application layer.
  • Experience building, deploying, and operating cloud-based applications on Azure or AWS
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners toward shared technical goals.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, solution demos, and retrospectives.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine drive to stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering best practices.
