
The Applied Sciences Group (ASG) is looking for a generalist Senior Software Engineer - Native to help us create innovative features across Windows and other Microsoft products. We are looking for a highly experienced native-code individual contributor who spend the majority of their time coding, ranging from OS and platform layers to app experiences and service integrations.
ASG is a unique, nimble, multidisciplinary team that turns cutting-edge ideas into shipping products by composing research, incubation, rapid prototyping, and human-centered development. As part of ASG, you'll directly shape experiences used by billions of people — from Windows (running on over a billion devices) to Microsoft 365 (used by 70% of Fortune 500 enterprises) and beyond.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
