We are looking for talented engineers to join our expanding platform as a service team. Our platform as a serviceis responsible forproviding the foundation for NCR Voyix cloud-basedproducts, andutilizea variety of features and servicesthatarefound on Google Cloud Platform
IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO….
Play a key role asaSenior Software Engineeronscrum teams focused ondeveloping NCRV’sCloudPlatform that will serve each of our major industries – Financial Services,Retailand,HospitalityYou willbuild and expand the services powering our API ecosystem, solving problems for a large community of fellow developersYour key day-today responsibilities will include:
Buildlarge-scale applications using Java or similar languages, with a focus on high-performance,scalabilityand resiliency in a service-oriented environment.
Craftclean, well-tested code using rigorous continuous delivery methodologies, includingautomated testing and deployment processes to ensure high quality and reliable software releases.
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Providetechnical leadership to other software engineers, including mentoring, code reviews, and pair programming.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production systems
Stayup to datewith the latest cloudtechnologiesandrecommend new tools and technologies to improve our cloud infrastructure and software development processes.
YOU HAVE…
Bachelor's orMaster'sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora relatedfield.
5+ years of software development experience
Strong programming skills inJava and/or C#
Experienceusing relational and/or non-relational databases
Experience designing, implementing, and testingRESTful APIs
Experience using Google Cloud Platformand or Microsoft Azure
Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, such as microservices, serverless, and containers.
Familiarity withmodern frameworks for building high-throughputand,resilient microservices
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE…
Background working onhighly available, high-transaction volume, fault-tolerant systems
Familiarity withSpring Framework,Node.js
Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing technologies
Participated in publicopen-sourceprojects
