Senior Software Engineer Java (m/f/d)

What You’ll Do

• Own End-to-End Delivery: Code, design, execute and take full responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of software projects and products.
• Drive the Roadmap: Collaborate with business groups to outline project deliverables and manage the roadmap of R&D tasks.
• Bridge Business and Engineering: Partner with Technical Relationship Managers and Architects to understand and execute client-initiated R&D requests.
• Champion Quality: Act as the key point of contact for managing and driving production defects to swift resolution.
• Solve with Agility: Tailor processes to manage time-sensitive issues and bring them to effective closure.

What You Bring

• Engineering bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong working knowledge of Java 8+, ORM, Spring Boot, and at least one testing framework (JUnit, Cypress, or similar)
• Solid experience with at least one relational database: MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
• Proven experience designing scalable microservices architectures
• Good understanding of REST APIs, strong debugging skills, and experience with log frameworks such as ELK
• Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Angular, including responsive design
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes is a strong plus
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) is a plus
• Demonstrated track record of end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade software
• Experience providing technical guidance and mentoring to peers
• Strong background in continuous integration practices and agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
