Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in our team, responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable software solutions. Your expertise in C++ and multithreading will be crucial in creating efficient and robust applications. Additionally, your knowledge of Linux and its development environment will be leveraged to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting.

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable software solutions using C++.
• Implement multithreading techniques for efficient and concurrent processing.
• Build and optimize applications within a C++ environment, ensuring performance and memory management.
• Develop and triage Linux-based applications, utilizing command-line tools, POSIX, and network protocols.
• Write unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed applications.
• Evaluate coding tests and maintain coding standards for C++ development.
• Integrate IDEs with source code systems like ClearCase and set up Linux IDEs.
• Apply Scrum methodologies and utilize tools like GIT and Confluence for efficient collaboration.
• Gain exposure to web application development on the C++ platform.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, optimizing performance through memory allocation reduction and loop optimization.

• 6-8+ years of experience in C++ programming, with expertise in memory management, file I/O, and streams concepts.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, including thread management and synchronization mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Linux development, including command-line tools, POSIX, processes, and network protocols.
• Experience in writing unit tests for application testing and validation.
• Ability to evaluate coding tests and maintain coding standards for C++ development.
• Good exposure to IDE integration with source code systems and Linux IDE setup.
• Understanding of Scrum methodologies and experience with tools like GIT and Confluence.
• Knowledge of web application development on the C++ platform is preferred.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
