The Videojet team is looking for a technically strong teammate, who will work with us to test software associated with new printer products, ongoing printer product software enhancements and sustainment with Videojet processes and quality standards.

The Senior Software Engineer II will use their testing skills to ensure the quality of the software is suitable for release to the customer. In addition to it, design and development skills to build automation across the platforms to achieve consistent results. Engineer will involve interacting with the Manager on getting clarity on requirement and collaborate with team to deliver Quality software on time. Individual needs to be a self-starter, mentor team members on technical aspects and will have to champion best in class STLC practices.

Associate will be required to work with team across the globe, including Software Architects, Developers and Testers.

Your key responsibilities will include, and not limited to:

  • Own and deliver test automation outcomes on time, including effort estimation, planning, and execution across projects.
  • Define and drive automation strategy, including requirement assessment, coverage improvement, and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks & infrastructure, including PoCs and CI-driven validation workflows.
  • Lead testing governance, including test plans, reviews, quality assurance, risk identification, and compliance with technical standards.
  • Manage and mentor the team, including task allocation, progress tracking/reporting, and driving code/design review best practices

To be successful in this opportunity, the must haves:

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing with 5+ years in test automation, along with a relevant degree (Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT or related field).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and BDD frameworks (mandatory) with proven programming and automation skills.
  • Extensive experience in automation framework design, development, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case creation, and end-to-end automation execution, including desktop and application testing.
  • Familiarity with modern testing tools and practices, including API testing (Postman), and exposure to C# or AI-driven testing (good to have)
