Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to build new products and features from concept to launch.
• Optimize application performance and scalability by balancing frontend and backend tradeoffs.
• Lead architectural discussions to design modular and maintainable systems.
• Drive initiatives beyond assigned tasks, contributing to the overall product vision and strategy.
• Measure and demonstrate the impact of your work on revenue growth and customer retention.
• Mentor junior engineers and elevate team standards through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in fullstack development, with strong expertise in TypeScript.
• Proven experience with React, Next.js, and Vue, demonstrating the ability to scale production applications.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and MongoDB, capable of designing scalable systems.
• A track record of building new products or features from the ground up, showcasing measurable commercial impact.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges in fast-paced environments.

Preferred

• Experience working in early-stage startups or scale-ups, rather than solely in large tech companies.
• Familiarity with AWS and other cloud services to enhance application deployment and management.
• A proactive mindset, eager to take ownership of projects and drive innovative solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $190K to $220K, complemented by a generous pre-IPO equity package. Our client offers a collaborative remote work environment that fosters growth and innovation.
