SeatGeek’s finance stack supports the reporting and operationalization of billions of dollars in transactions and settlements across diverse revenue streams and dozens of production systems. FinEng is the dedicated team focused on getting our arms around the finance and accounting data that SeatGeek generates across the business. This team is rethinking and rebuilding the systems that power our understanding of revenue recognition, marketplace settlements, and unit economics - all towards our mission of making SeatGeek the top destination for live event goers.
As the company grows and use cases with our finance data transform, our stack needs to adjust and scale to keep pace with new agentic demands and the increasing complexity of our financial operations. You'll be hands-on building the core systems that ingest settlement and transaction data from across the business, translate it into our general ledger and billing systems, and make handling complex deal structures look easy. If you are passionate about modernizing financial infrastructure, modeling complex revenue flows, and building platforms that provide teams and agents data they can trust, this is your opportunity to transform how we think about money at SeatGeek.
Experience with every technology listed isn’t expected, we’ve included them for transparency. What matters most to us is your core engineering skills and ability to learn, not deep expertise in any one tool or language.
The salary range for this role is $144,000 - $209,000 USD. This role is equity eligible. In addition, you may receive a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
SeatGeek is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, color, religion, creed, age, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, military or veteran status, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law. Help the world experience more live.
SeatGeek was built in 2009 as the only mobile ticketing marketplace created with fan experience top of mind. We’re transforming the way fans buy and sell their tickets to their favorite live events across sports, music, and theater.
While we humbly believe we have the best consumer technology on the market, our mission goes beyond that – by bringing a technology-first approach to an entire industry sorely in need of a better solution, we aim to be a force for good in live entertainment.
SeatGeek’s acquisition of TopTix marks our entrance into the primary market. From then on, we began providing the premier primary ticketing solution on the market, a perfect complement to our best-in-class consumer tech. Now our mission goes beyond the fan experience and brings power, control, and flexibility to rightsholders - reinventing live entertainment for the modern, mobile era.
