Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Finacle Core Banking, Finacle Scripting, and Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on Finacle 11 implementations, customizations, integrations, and support while collaborating directly with clients and business stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and support Finacle Core Banking solutions.
• Work on Finacle 11 product capabilities, requirements, and customization architecture.
• Develop and maintain Finacle customizations, including:
• Custom menus
• Product menu customization
• MRT reports
• Jasper reports
• Batch jobs
• Finacle Integrator (FI)
• EOD/BOD processes
• Production issue debugging and troubleshooting
• Design and implement Finacle integrations using:
• Product APIs
• Custom APIs
• Connect 24
• Finacle Integrator
• Develop and optimize Oracle database components including:
• SQL
• PL/SQL
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Triggers
• Develop solutions using Finacle Scripting and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable solutions.
• Interact directly with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Follow coding standards, security guidelines, documentation standards, and unit testing best practices.
• Work in Agile development environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Finacle Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Finacle Core Banking (Infosys/EdgeVerve).
• Strong understanding of Finacle 11 architecture and customization framework.
• Experience with Finacle customization layers and development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in Finacle scripting.
• Good knowledge of Finacle Integrator and enhancement opportunities.
• Experience with Finacle CRM and Administration modules (FINFADM/SSOADM).
• Strong understanding of Finacle Core Banking functionalities.

Oracle & Database Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience developing:
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Triggers
• Database optimization and performance tuning

Integration & Technical Skills

• Experience with Finacle APIs and integration frameworks.
• Exposure to Connect 24 integrations.
• Unix Shell Scripting experience.
• Report development using MRT and Jasper Reports.

Banking Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Banking Domain concepts and terminology.
• Experience working on Core Banking implementations and enhancements.

Soft Skills

• Direct client-facing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Finacle Certification from Infosys/EdgeVerve.
• Experience in enterprise-scale banking transformation projects.
• Exposure to application architecture, solution design, and technology benchmarking.
