What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and NodeJS to support scalable applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement REST APIs that enhance system interoperability.
- Optimize database performance and reliability using MongoDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Leverage AWS services to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software engineering to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4–7 years of experience in backend software engineering, with a strong focus on Python and NodeJS.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, to build and deploy applications.
- Proficiency in database management and optimization using MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts as they apply to healthcare technology.
- Experience in agile development methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $150K to $200K, with equity options between $200K and $400K vested over four years, providing a competitive compensation package that rewards your contributions to the company's success.
