About the team

We build and run shared platform services used by teams right across JLL's technology organisation. These are multi-tenant services with internal applications depending on them every day, so reliability, security and careful change management sit at the centre of how we work.

The team is small and distributed, with members in several regions. This role is based in Tel Aviv and collaborates across those regions daily, which calls for strong written communication and a high degree of independence.

About the role

This is a hands-on contractor role covering both engineering and quality across the full stack. You will build features end to end, from the React front end through to the C# .NET Core services and APIs behind them, and you will own the testing that proves those services behave correctly for the applications that consume them.

End-to-end testing is a core part of the role rather than an afterthought. Alongside feature work, the team is delivering high-volume data operations whose results other applications depend on, so validating those flows, and automating that validation, carries the same weight as shipping the features themselves.

What you'll do

Own quality end to end

• Test application and integration flows from end to end, across both feature work and high-volume data operations
• Write and maintain automated web tests
• Validate that data processed in bulk lands correctly and stays available to the applications that read it

Build across the stack

• Build and maintain single-page applications using React, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services using C# .NET Core
• Write clean, readable, well-tested code across the full stack
• Use GitHub day to day: branches, pull requests, reviews
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code to speed up coding, testing and documentation

Work with the team

• Work with product, design and QA to turn requirements into working solutions
• Take part in code reviews and help hold the team's engineering standards
• Keep the team and stakeholders updated on progress, blockers and technical decisions

What we're looking for

Required

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proven experience building SPA architectures
• Experience designing, building and integrating APIs
• Experience with C# .NET Core backend services
• Good working knowledge of GitHub for version control and team collaboration
• Clear written and spoken communication in English

Preferred

• QA experience, including automated web testing
• Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar), including custom prompts and Skills, and agentic workflows for development, testing or documentation
• Load testing
• Kafka and/or AWS MSK
• Playwright
• Octopus Deploy
• Building or configuring AI agents for developer productivity: automated code review, test generation, workflow automation

How we work: you should be comfortable with

• A distributed team with limited timezone overlap, and the asynchronous habits that requires
• High test coverage expectations on changed code
• Services with production users, extended while they are running
• Small team, broad surface area, direct ownership
