Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining core Java-based applications while optimizing enterprise build engineering and automation pipelines. You will leverage automated workflows, build tools, and enterprise AI capabilities to streamline development processes and deliver reliable, high-performance software features.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute directly as a hands-on software engineer designing, building, testing, and maintaining core Java-based applications and features.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain automated build pipelines and workflows utilizing Gradle and GitHub Actions.
  • Manage dependency resolution, artifact management (Artifactory), and build execution performance across Java application codebases.
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement across development and build engineering processes.
  • Evaluate emerging trends in build engineering, continuous integration, and AI-assisted developer tooling to inform solution design and strategic innovation.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, frameworks, and reusable components to address complex business challenges with an emphasis on responsible AI use.
  • Perform code reviews, enforce build quality gates, mentor software engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to accelerate reliable product delivery.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent software development experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Relational Databases and SQL
  • 1+ years of experience with GitHub Actions and automated build pipelines
  • 1+ years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and dependency management best practices in enterprise Java projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins build automation workflows
  • Experience with artifact management tools (e.g., Artifactory) and Java dependency resolution
  • Experience with Application Server configuration and deployment
  • Experience mentoring and guiding software engineering team members
  • Experience working on large-scale software projects and enterprise applications
  • Hands-on experience using AI development tools and building software solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and/or TypeScript is helpful

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
