That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry. In this role, you’ll join our highly collaborative Product and Engineering organization to drive the technical direction of our projects.

This position can be based remotely in the Czech Republic. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Develop backend code of MVC web application running on the latest .NET platform an MVC web application running on .NET 10 — we move fast to adopt the latest platform releases, not just say we do
• Create, maintain, and contribute to a custom framework and component library built in React
• Leverage a customer-centric approach to lead architectural design decisions that improve scalability and performance for users
• Participate in designing and building a system that is aligned with Procore’s technical vision of a service-oriented architecture
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problems
• Develop fellow teammates by conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, pairing, and training opportunities

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience
• Proven, hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals, Test-Driven Development, and design principles. We're flexible on exact language background — strong C#/TypeScript experience is ideal, and we're equally open to candidates from adjacent stacks (e.g., Ruby) who bring real versatility and are comfortable working across both backend and front-end
• Track record of anticipating technical problems that will fall out of major projects and designing solutions to overcome those problems
• Demonstrated expertise with building and/or significantly improving large features, support technological areas, and architecture initiatives
• Experience working with our stack of C#, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL
• Strong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions
• Time-honed expertise with modern web development across the entire spectrum of development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring
• Comfortable and enthusiastic about incorporating AI tools into your daily development workflow

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

1,200,000.00 - 1,800,000.00 CZK Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
