As a Senior Software Engineer within the SE&I organization in Bengaluru, you will play a key role in transforming business needs into impactful technology solutions. Your success will be measured not only by the quality of the software you build, but also by your ability to leverage AI, exercise sound judgment, collaborate effectively across teams, and deliver outcomes that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business value.
The selected candidate will serve as an AI-Native Software Engineer, at times acting as a FDE, partnering closely with Business co builders, and architects.
We are looking for an individual who excels at understanding customer problems, framing opportunities, and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to deliver meaningful solutions. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, sound judgment, curiosity, communication skills, and the ability to influence without formal authority. More than technical expertise alone, we value individuals who demonstrate ownership, learning agility, customer focus, creativity, and a passion for solving business problems.
This role is responsible for understanding the why, what, and desired outcomes behind a solution before determining the how. The ideal candidate can navigate ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and guide teams toward the right solutions.
As part of an AI-native engineering organization, the successful candidate will continuously explore new technologies, leverage AI to improve engineering outcomes, contribute to the adoption of AI development platforms, apply sound judgment in selecting AI models and approaches by balancing capability, cost, performance, risk, and business value.

The SE&I organization in Bengaluru partners closely with global Georgia-Pacific teams to design, build, and support enterprise technology solutions at scale. As part of the Georgia-Pacific Corporate Capabilities IT Applications team, you will work in a highly collaborative environment focused on modern engineering practices, cloud-native development, AI-enabled software delivery, and continuous improvement.
