We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer

Business:Asia & Middle East Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Manage the operations and optimization of existing BAU (Business-As-Usual) and production support, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Guide and mentor new team members in system operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive automation in system operations using modern tools and scripting, focusing on efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
• Oversee project deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise-level application systems.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jenkins, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Github, etc.), with flexibility to adopt new technologies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and security standards in daily operations and project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust IT solutions and support business growth.
• Champion the adoption of automation tools and best practices in IT operations.
• Experience with AI and speech-to-text projects is a strong advantage.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of technology experience
• Hands-on experience in system operations, maintenance, and optimization of large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: GCP or AWS (must-have).
• Advanced skills in Python, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, Helm, and Github.
• Strong background in automation of IT operations and development of related tools.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under high pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in onboarding and mentoring new team members in system operations.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and speech-to-text project experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
