GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for developing and communicating improvements to IT technologies and processes. Provides support to IT by planning and communicating projects and processes to various functions and levels of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design, develop, test, and maintain code bases supporting suite of applications
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Maintain and improve existing database schemas, data models, and ETL processes.
Design and maintain production, development, testing and training environments.
Migrates software changes to different environments in compliance with SOX regulations.
Collaborate with application developers, data architects, and business analysts to support end-to-end solution delivery.
Document technical designs, data flows, and development processes.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
Availability during on-call rotations and deployment windows.
Interest of AI concepts and applying them to development life cycle.
On site availability in West Michigan for continual cross training focus of team.
Interest in exploring new technologies and applying them to business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant academic discipline preferred.
3 to 5 years of professional IT & IS experience required.
Licenses and Certifications nice to have
Skills and Abilities
3–5 years of hands-on experience with development leveraging .Net
Experience leveraging React.js with Typescript for developing modern, responsive front-end user interfaces.
Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling principles.
Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages.
Experience developing scalable, high-concurrency APIs and web services.
Proficiency with git repository for version control and collaborative development workflows.
Experience developing serverless AWS cloud solutions with Infrastructure as Code deployment.
Technology certifications and AI assisted development experience a plus.
Additional Skills and Abilities
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies are preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Must have good communications skills and the ability to work with business partners and analysts.
