Motorola Solutions Polska - a global leader in mission-critical communication products, services and solutions - is looking for software engineers to join the software engineering department for public safety radio solutions.
In Dimetra Software Engineering department we are responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, testing and maintaining telecommunications products for public safety in TETRA technology. We are divided into self-organizing teams, working in agile environment.
The growing Base Transceiver Station (BTS) software engineering team handles a dense roadmap of new features with a full product lifecycle responsibility.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the TETRA Base Transceiver Station (BTS) team.

As a BTS software engineer you will:
Support and develop new features in an embedded product written in C and C++
Develop automatic functional tests in JAVA
Collaborate daily within a scrum team of 6-8 engineers
Ensure by frequent integration that your code works (on HW you can touch in the lab)
Work in our R&D center in Kraków with part-time remote work possible
Required
Communicate with clarity and precision in English
University degree
Knowledge of C, C++, JAVA programming languages
Linux skills
Basic knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP)
Preferred skills (not required, but nice to have)
Software versioning system (e.g. GIT) experience
Know-how in re-engineering and refactoring
Basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies
Team leading experience
