We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Engineer to join our organization in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role will require a strong leader with proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across regions, working closely with both business leaders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have a broad PEGA background, with experience in team development, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of cultural dynamics across international settings.
The candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive, supportive, and performance-driven culture that aligns with the company’s global values and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the technical solutions of the delivery team
Collaborate proactively with a distributed team, including developers, quality assurance, project management, and product management teams to deliver quality software in a fast-paced environment.
Design, develop and deploy technical PEGA based software solutions
Work in Agile / Scrum software delivery life cycle
Provide input to technical design process model, monitoring and reporting components, task and service implementations, work management, process start and control, event handling, integration components, work assignment, user access and security components, and versioning approach
Support business and production applications by analyzing incidents, finding root cause, and correcting defects
Implement and maintain quality code within PEGA Guard rails
Develop unit tests (automated and manual)
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 5+ years equivalent IT experience
Pega CSA, Pega CSSA, Pega LSA preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Process Management, Business Continuous Improvement or related field
Demonstrated process modeling and process definition skills
Understanding of BPM modeling and requirements tool(s); extensive experience with Pega PRPC
Successful application of business analysis skills
Proficient business design, business modeling, testing and solution definition skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability of working in fast-paced and complex organizations
Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering high-quality software solutions
Experience in technical leadership of teams
Mentoring of other PEGA developers on the team
Strategic thinker able to make decisions with short term and long-term considerations
Conducting JAD Session/Workshops with architect, application leadership team and business stakeholders to come up with complete Business Process Analysis and Business Process Modeling
