The Software Engineer shall be responsible for providing engineering support for mission applications in a SaaS/PaaS Linux environment deployed on an ‘on-prem’ cloud offering developed with open source software using Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Rook and other cutting edge technologies.
Position Required Skills
§ Proficient using the Linux CLI
§ Experience developing and maintaining Bash scripts
§ Software development experience using Python in a Linux environment
§ Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
§ Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
§ Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Position Desired Skills
§ Experience with S3 Object Store technologies such as IBM Cloud Object Store, AWS S3
§ Experience with Git Version Control System
§ Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
