Our client is building the AI-powered financial infrastructure layer for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.
Their platform automates complex financial operations including cash application, deductions, disputes, forecasting, demand planning, and analytics — helping brands streamline workflows that have historically relied on spreadsheets and fragmented systems.

Build and scale core platform infrastructure
Develop backend systems for financial workflow automation
Design large-scale data ingestion pipelines
Build APIs powering analytics and forecasting systems
Implement AI-powered document processing workflows
Build financial data extraction systems
Improve platform performance and reliability
Design scalable product architecture
Build systems for retailer and ERP integrations
Ship product features end-to-end
Collaborate directly with product and engineering
Occasionally work directly with customers to solve workflow problems
Help shape technical architecture as the company scales
4–8 years of production software engineering experience
Strong backend systems engineering depth
Experience building scalable data-heavy systems
Strong TypeScript or Python backend expertise
Experience working with relational databases
Experience building production APIs
Strong product engineering instincts
Ability to work across backend + product systems
Experience shipping customer-facing features
Comfortable working fully onsite in NYC
Experience with financial systems
Data pipelines / ETL systems
Snowflake / warehouse architecture
Postgres performance optimization
