We're seeking an experienced Senior Observability Services Engineer to play a critical role in the development and operation of our Observability service offering. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Observability Tool ecosystem. You will report to manager and it’s a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
Fedramp Environment Working Experience: Prior experience in implementing observability in Fedramp and/or any regulated environments
Synthetic Monitoring System: Design, implement, synthetic monitoring strategies for Autodesk applications and services. Maintain existing synthetic monitoring system to run cost efficiently while maintaining reliability
Application Performance Monitoring: Understand Application Performance Monitoring and Distributed Tracing using Open Telemetry
Scripting: Automate and Create solutions on top of synthetic monitoring to reduce administrative toil and make the platform available as self-service for customers
Intelligent Alerting: Build intelligent and context-aware alerting mechanisms that proactively identify and notify about potential system issues
Dashboarding and Visualization: Design informative dashboards and visualizations to provide real-time insights on product availability
Self-Service Focus: Enable end-users with self-service capabilities for synthetic test creation by using MCPs and AI enabled solutions for configuration, and troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience with Synthetic Monitoring: Prior experience integrating and managing synthetic monitoring system
Observability Fundamentals: Solid grasp of observability concepts, metrics, logs, and tracing
Data Analysis and Visualization: Ability to analyse data and create meaningful visualizations for monitoring and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
Microservices and distributed systems experience
DevOps culture and automation testing
Familiarity with APM platforms like Dynatrace and IPM platforms like Catchpoint
Passion for building customer-facing solutions
