Senior Software Engineer

We're representing a company that is building the next generation of voice AI agents specifically designed for healthcare call centers. Their technology automates routine patient interactions, enabling clinical staff to focus on complex care. With a team of around 110 people, they combine robust infrastructure with a startup environment, allowing for significant impact from day one.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
• Develop and iterate on frontend interfaces using React, enhancing both internal tools and customer-facing experiences.
• Architect and manage data pipelines and storage solutions with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Integrate and extend machine learning capabilities leveraging OpenAI and related AI/ML tooling.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, and infrastructure teams to meet the compliance and reliability needs of healthcare environments.
• Contribute to system design decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on full stack and/or machine learning domains.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in web frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• Solid experience in frontend development using React.
• Proven expertise with PostgreSQL for relational data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred

• Familiarity with asynchronous messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and caching layers using Redis.
• Experience working with or integrating large language models or OpenAI APIs in production environments.
• Exposure to healthcare workflows or EHR integrations.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $190K to $220K, reflecting the high demand for skilled engineers in the healthcare AI space. This company offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on improving patient experiences.
