Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the quality of an entire project across various platforms (specifically iOS, Android and web).
• Develop testing strategies with a vision to produce maximum quality in minimum time frame.
• Develop and implement Test Automation Framework for continuous testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts as well as test cases and scenarios (including manual and automation).
• Execute Test Cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
• Be responsible to adapting to the business and user requirements.
• Plan and carry-out different testing types such as Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Database, API, etc.
• Interact with the project manager as well as business and technology teams to develop a strong understanding of the product and testing objectives.
• Manage issue triage, escalation and verification.
• Provide valuable feedbacks on products based on ease of use and user experience.

Requirements

• Experience in Test-Driven Development / Business-Driver Development testing processes.
• Strong experience in test planning, creating test cases and execution using Test Automation Tools/Framework.
• Experienced in Agile Scrum Software Development methodologies.
• Experience in API testing and tools like Postman, is a plus.
• Automation experience at Unit, API and UI level.
• Ability to switch between automation and manual testing processes without any hiccups.
• Strong experience with Appium and Selenium.
• Experience with Jest, Enzyme, EarlGrey and XCUITest is a plus.
• Strong command on one of the following languages: Core Java or JavaScript.
• Experience in working alone or as a part of a distributed team.
• Ability to adapt and work with to different programming languages and databases.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in project management or team management is required.
• Experience in handling native and hybrid applications in automation testing.
• Good understanding of concepts like regression testing, functional testing, mobile web testing, system testing, Performance Testing.
• Awareness and exposure to Test Automation tools & Frameworks, viz. Cucumber, Jenkins, TestNG.

Job Location: Bangalore (IndiQube Gamma, Kadubeesanahalli)
