Partner with the best

In this role, you will help with the design and architecture of a test automation framework for DDoS detection and mitigation systems. You will work cross-functionally to define architectural standards and ensure the framework meets the needs of the product.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for component, integration, and system level tests
• Collaborating to understand product architecture, features, and develop automation strategies that support all levels of test types
• Collaborating with test teams to integrate automated tests into suites and pipelines
• Analyzing and troubleshooting test failures, identify root causes, and working with development teams to resolve issues
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and ensuring they run efficiently in the build pipeline
• Participating in code reviews and design reviews to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and alignment with quality standards

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5+ years of experience as an SDET or a similar role with a focus on automation and a bachelors degree
• Have proven experience in architecting and designing automation frameworks (Python, Java, etc.)
• Demonstrate experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reliable
• Have experience with networking and routing protocols (e.g HTTP, TCP, UDP, BDP, GRE)
• Possess a solid understanding of testing frameworks such as PyTest, TestNG, Unittest, JUnit, NUnit, or similar
• Have familiarity with DDoS attacks, mitigation techniques, and network security
• Have experience with test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, Qase) and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Be able to cover shift timings of 4PM to 1AM IST
