Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer - Amazon Connect
Location: Nottingham - Hybrid
Working Pattern: 3 days in-office (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote.

You and the Role
The UK Connect team supports Capital One’s UK Contact Centre operation run using Amazon Connect Customer on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This team sits at a fantastic intersection between enabling a busy and thriving contact centre across voice and chat channels, while delivering on its own platform roadmap and ensuring we maintain a secure and stable service. The team currently consists of engineers, a Product Manager, a Software Engineering Manager, and an Application Architect.
Working in and across tech teams is a natural part of our outcome-based culture, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to talk, coach, learn, and deliver great outcomes for our customers. We’d be looking for you to set and maintain our engineering standards while also bringing your peers along with you on this journey.

Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office
We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday - Thursday), with Monday and Friday being dedicated work-from-home days. Our offices are designed to inspire and support you. At our Nottingham head office, you'll find an on-site gym , restaurant , and dedicated Learning Loft
