What you'll do?
Analyze software requirements and derive low-level requirements with complete traceability.
Design software architecture and detailed software design using Enterprise Architect (EA).
Develop, integrate, and validate AUTOSAR-based embedded software applications.
Configure and integrate RTE, BSW, MCAL, communication stacks, diagnostics, NVRAM, and bootloader components.
Develop embedded software using C programming and perform debugging, unit testing, and integration testing.
Create and execute test plans, test specifications, and automated test scripts using Python and J-Script.
Work on CAN and UDS communication protocol development, validation, and troubleshooting.
Contribute to software functional testing using CANoe, CANalyzer, CANstress, and flashing tools.
Participate in technical reviews, issue analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with global teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver projects within timelines and quality standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in software development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA, and cybersecurity requirements.
What will you bring?
8-10 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development, preferably in the Passive Safety domain.
Strong expertise in AUTOSAR-based software development and integration.
Proficiency in Embedded C programming with a solid understanding of microcontroller architecture, memory mapping, device drivers, compilers, and debuggers.
Hands-on experience with CAN, UDS, SPI, and other automotive communication protocols.
Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools such as Vector DaVinci, GENy, and EB Tresos.
Practical experience using automotive validation tools including CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANstress.
Good understanding of software architecture, detailed design, and documentation using Enterprise Architect.
Knowledge of software debugging techniques, testing methodologies, and integration testing.
Understanding of ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), MISRA guidelines, and software development lifecycle practices.
Experience in configuration management and change management processes.
Exposure to Fault Handler, DEM, EOL, EDR modules and Cybersecurity features such as Secure Boot, Secure Flash, and HSM is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues.
A proactive mindset, ownership attitude, and strong collaboration skills.
Agile certification and experience working with Japanese OEMs will be an added advantage.
Flexibility to work in a global environment with overlap timings when required.
